In the collages Gloria P. deliberately eludes the classic relationship of mediation between subject and photographic practice, starting a path that finds in the composition and recomposition of simple forms of colored paper the reasons for a formal aesthetic exploration to which she skilfully removes every narrative potential leaving to the sensation itself that the combination of shapes and colors refers to the task of involving the observer.
Denoting a passion for poor materials, everyday and domestic situations, neglected and obsolete objects, manual work and the gestures that accompany them, Gloria Pasotti seems to evade the very understanding of things in favor of their participation in a game in which everything loses and finds meaning in a strongly personal constellation.
